To celebrate MarketMakers turning 15, we had the pleasure of welcoming one of MarketMakers’ founders, Paul Thomas to speak at this morning’s sales workshop.

Paul founded MarketMakers with Henry Braithwaite 15 years ago and has since launched and grown the lead generation software company Lead Forensics. He spoke to the MarketMakers team about personal development and the importance of continuing to stay focussed on what you want to achieve.

This morning’s sales workshop kicked off the week with some Monday motivation for the MM team. Paul referred back to his own career, and how his keen interest in sports and running helped him to gain a competitive and enduring mind-set. This is what helped him work his way up and succeed in the sales industry.

Our sales workshop’s have been introduced to the office every Monday at 8:45am. They give our team the chance to hear first hand from MarketMakers experts in the business. We have previously heard from our very own Commercial Director Graham and Managing Director Tom.

The talk was followed by a Q&A from members of the MarketMakers team where Paul summarised his advice into 2 main points:

  1. Be really clear about what it is that you want out of life
  2. Never ever quit

This has given our team just the start we need on a Monday morning to work to the best we can be. Paul will be following up his workshop today on a Goal Setting & Personal Development discussion on the 20th March @ 8am.
