MarketMakers receive accreditation from Investors in People
“I have never been anywhere with such a good atmosphere before”
John Kenyon, Senior Assessor, Investors in People
In August 2007, following a thorough assessment, MarketMakers were proud to acceptaccreditation from Investors in People. A comprehensive report followed, detailing our business, the introduction to which is shown here.
MarketMakers are a young company that commenced trading in 2003. It is the first of a new generation of telemarketing and telesales agencies delivering targeted lead generation, appointment setting and sales for growing SME businesses like their own.
This is a niche business-to-business company that is already providing an industry leading service. It has expanded rapidly through the vision of the two owner Directors who started the business when just 21.
“The is so much good practice in this company that the assessor finds it hard to single out an appropriate number to incorporate into this report.”
Employee numbers have expanded organically from 2 to 48 over the period, with a turnover from zero to millions of pounds in 4 years and with plans to continue this sales growth into double digits within the next 5 years. The company has also been successful in gaining some new large company clients within the financial services sector.
“MarketMakers’ internal communications were fantastic, performance management – industry leading, support for constantly improving the way they do business – uniquely good”
Their formula for success is simple. They market themselves as being the very best, they employ excellent people who work hard, and they produce excellent results for their clients.
The Assessor has been inside a large number of companies in a variety of sectors both public and private during the period since MarketMakers started trading. It is fair for me to say that I have never seen another organisation anything quite like this one. The Directors are seen as role models for the workforce. Employees are committed to the Ethos and Values of the company and see work as fun. Motivation to succeed oozes from everyone, as the company turnover grows exponentially.
“The Assessor would add that the company is living these values and philosophy every day, and this appears in his opinion to bind the whole organisation together effectively in ways others do not.”
