MarketMakers move to 1000 Lakeside.
MarketMakers has moved into a 6,000 sq ft at its 1000 Lakeside office building in Portsmouth to telemarketing and telesales agency, MarketMakers.
MarketMakers employs over 150 staff, and had reached capacity in its former office building off Eastern Road, Portsmouth.
MarketMakers is currently expanding across each of its three service areas of telemarketing, strategic multi-channel marketing and online analytical software. With further significant growth anticipated in the next 3-4 years, finding business premises with expansion space was critical.
Managing director, Paul Thomas comments: “1000 Lakeside offered the prestigious premises which we needed to fit the image of our business, but equally important, the potential to take on further space in the building as our business grows.”
He added: “Many of our employees use public transport to get to work, rather than car, so Lakeside’s shuttle bus service and proximity to the train station was also an important consideration.”
Highcross director, Nick Turner, added: “This latest deal means that we have let more than 25,000 sq ft at 1000 Lakeside in the last three months. This is an encouraging sign for the regional office market and also great news for our 1000 Lakeside scheme, which is consistently appealing to companies looking for high quality office space to meet their expansion requirements.”
Located adjacent to Junction 12 of the M27 at the gateway to Portsmouth, the air-conditioned, four-floor 1000 Lakeside office building is set in extensively landscaped grounds and has almost 1,000 car parking spaces. Office space is available up to 72,000 sq ft, with a Regus business centre also located on site for companies requiring smaller accommodation.
Joint agents for 1000 Lakeside are Vail Williams and Hughes Ellard.
