MarketMakers are shortlisted in the Learning Awards
This week we were very excited to learn that we have been shortlisted for ‘Staff Development Programme of the Year’ in the Learning Awards.
This is obviously great news for the MarketMakers Business School and proves that our investment in training is industry-leading by a long way. We’re all very proud of the MarketMakers Business School which is accessible to the entire team so fingers crossed!
Previous winners include HSBC, Bupa, Royal Mail, Cadbury Schweppes and Nationwide. Joining the Judging Panel this are John Raddon of SAS and Fiona Leteney of Bupa.
The Market Makers’ Business School is a unique staff development programme: it is unusual in the telemarketing industry for a company to invest in training as we do, yet the performance improvements we achieve benefit our employees, our bottom line and our clients.
We have always believed in the power and importance of training but relied on coaching and generalised NVQs until the Business School was created in 2011. It is now an exceptional programme driven from the top by our two founders’ energy and passion for supporting staff
The Business School has proved a huge success because it is woven into the fabric of the company, not an added extra.
