B2B Marketing Expo 2019
It’s been a whole week since B2B Marketing Expo, so we wanted to share some of our highlights from the event.
This year we decided to run some extra activities on our stand to give visitors and exhibitors the chance to win themselves a pair of AirPods. We would like to say a big congratulations to our winner Rachel, and thank you to everyone who came to visit us.
Alongside our wheel of fortune that took pride of place on our stand, we asked people to fill out a small survey on lead generation. This was a great way for us to have some interesting conversations with people, as well as finding out more about the marketplace we work in.
A really interesting session that we attended on day 1 was all about ‘6 ways to make your B2B copy persuasive and memorable’. Tim Tucker, Director of 23 Digital Ltd delivered this talk to a really busy crowd on the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing (IDM) Academy stage.
Day 2
We really enjoyed ‘ABM – What it is & how to do it in B2B services’, by Waheed Warden, Fujitsu. She spoke about scaling and evolving a B2B ABM approach, and the importance of personalisation in increasing engagement.
“We already know that ABM is supremely customer centric.”
It’s always a pleasure being able to support our sister company, Really B2B’s MD Kirsty at marketing events. This year was no different. She joined the panel on Thursday afternoon, discussing ‘The B2B marketing landscape – now & future and what this means for you’.
“Creativity has changed. It now involves tech, integrated journeys and measurement. What does the modern marketer focus on?”
We would like to say a huge MM thank you to everyone who came to visit us. As well as the event organisers and members of the MarketMakers team for helping us put on another amazing show. Keep an eye out for the MarketMakers team at more events this year!
