As the end of the year draws closer, we want to reflect on some of the amazing work that has been happening in the company. From our Give As You Earn scheme, where our employees give a small donation out of their wages which as a company we match, to our annual charity events, charity has always been a hugely important part of life at MarketMakers.
This week we have all taken part in the ‘5 days of Dress Down‘, in which the whole team donated money to dress down for the week. This has been for an amazing cause, as all money raised will go towards buying toys/ presents for families and children who’ll be spending their Christmas holidays in hospital.
We would like to give a special thanks to everyone who has kindly donated to one of our causes this year, here’s to another year of raising awareness and money for causes that truly need it.
In July some of our team embarked on a 70 mile bike journey, resulting in over £1,200 being raised for Building Schools for Africa.
As part of our monthly dress down days in the office, we dedicated all proceeds and a cake sale to raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness.
In October, employees from MarketMakers and Really B2B raised over £3,000 walking around the whole of the Isle of Wight.
Our annual Charity Ball was a massive success this year, with a grand total of £35,000 raised for Building Schools for Africa.
